Pottermore Survey!

  • What's your Pottermore username? HexQuaffle117
  • What House do you think it sounds like? It sounds vaguely Ravenclawish to me
  • What House do you want to be in? Oh gosh, this is one of the reasons I am so incredibly excited about Pottermore. I have no idea.
  • Does your username relate to you at all? I don't think so, but it was clearly the best choice.
  • What kind of wand would you wish to get? I like the idea of a cherry wand like Neville, with dragonheart string for its core.
  • Are you pure, half-blooded or Muggle born? Probably a half-blood.
  • Which day did you get into Pottermore? Day three. I had to work and couldn't stay up all night!
  • What shape is your Patronus? Hedgehog
  • What does your boggart look like? Probably a giant Circle K sign.
  • Would you rather be an Animagus or a Matamorphmagus? Matamorphmagus. I don't feel the need to be an animal.
  • If you were an Animagus, what animal would you be? I would be a fish.

    A New Start?

I've just deleted everything* on this blog. Will I start blogging again? Who knows.
I was just going throught my iPod and deleting songs I never listen to, and though I'd share with you my most played songs. Keep in mind I've had this iPod for four years, and they are mostly songs I haven't listened to in years.
So, the top ten in reverse order:

    10. The Bitch of Living by Spring Awakening, 126 plays
It surprises me that this is the only Spring Awakening song on my top ten, because I went through a phase a little over a year ago where it was all I listened to. I saw the show in Cincinnati, and it was the first show I saw that wasn't high school or college, so it's extra special to me.

    9. Piazza, New York Catcher by Belle and Sebastian, 137 plays
This is the only song that I know by Belle and Sebastian, I don't know anything about the band, but I adore this song and used to play it all the time on guitar back when I fancied myself a musician.

    8. Foundation by Kate Nash (Blue Skies cover), 138 plays
According to itunes I haven't listened to this song since November 2010, so I just listened to it again. I love Blue Skies.

    7. Love Story by Taylor Swift, 142 plays
This song is obvious, because for a while there, whenever I was in the car with my friends or my mother, we would sing this song. I'm not a huge Taylor Swift fan, but I still listen to her music and enjoy it from time to time.

    6. Borne on the FM Waves by Against Me!, 143 plays
Against Me! is one of my brother's favorite bands, and the very first real concert I went to, back in middle school. This is one of the only songs from New Wave that I liked, and I still listen to this song whenever it comes up on shuffle.

    5. Into the Sunshine by Julia Nunes, 145 plays
Julia is amazing, this song is amazing.

    4. Summer of '09 by ALL CAPS, 152 plays
I don't know if you've ever driven down the highway with your best friend with the windows down and the sunroof open, but if you haven't, you need to. This song just reminds me of everything happy.

    3. Life in Technicolour II by Coldplay (Blue Skies cover) 177 plays
Like I said, I love Blue Skies. Dave's voice is one of those voices I could listen to forever and never get sick of. I love the music in this song.

    2. Fly Mary by Mike Lombardo, 189 plays
I am a huge fan of Mike Lombardo. Piano has always been my favorite instrument, and Mike's playing is incredible. His music helped me a lot this past summer; whenever things were tough and I wanted to be alone I would sit in the dark and listen to his music, and it always helped. I love his music, and he seems like such a nice guy. I was so happy to see him live the day before my birthday, and I can't wait until summer when he's on tour again.

    1. Debut by Fortunes Fall (aka Eddplant and Tom Milsom), 216 plays
This song. If asked, I probably wouldn't name it as my favorite song, but my iPod begs to differ. Everything about Ed's voice is beautiful. The lyrics are great, and the music is interesting. I love this song so, so much.

So there you go! That was actually pretty fun to write. I now have some homework to attend to :P
